The Metal Gear franchise is known for its intelligent stealth action, memorable characters, complicated storyline and lengthy cutscenes. The latest game in the franchise, the award-winning Metal Gear Solid V: The Phantom Pain, takes place after the events of Peace Walker but before the events of the original Metal Gear (originally released on the MSX2).
